Wiring Mother Nature (Interfacial electrochemistry of proteins.)

Given the rapidly expanding feasibility of conducting interfacial electrochemical experiments on redox proteins, as described in the article by Isao Taniguchi in this issue of Interface, this article will specifically address the following question: what quantitative and fundamental information can be obtained from such experiments with regard to the protein itself and the protein/electrode interface?
