Zusammenfassung:Trichomonas vaginalis is the most common non-viral sexually transmitted infection (STI) in the world, but there is extremely limited data on the epidemiology and diagnosis of T. vaginalis in men in the emergency department (ED) [1,2]. The OSOM® Trichomonas Test (Sekisui Diagnostics, Framingham, MA) is a U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-approved rapid diagnostic test for T. vaginalis [3].
