Zusammenfassung: | This study examines the turnover rates for specific positions within an organization where "involuntary" turnover is the norm, namely pro fessional hockey. This approach contrasts with most studies of organiza tional metabolism wherein "voluntary'' turnover has been the pheno menon of interest. Results indicated that involuntary turnover rates vary by the nature of the work role within the organization. The paper con cludes with a discussion of the applicability of the correlates of volun tary turnover to the phenomenon of involuntary turnover. |
