Zusammenfassung:	The metric properties of the Drug‐Induced Extrapyramidal Symptoms Scale (DIEPSS) were examined in 182 subjects treated with antipsychotics. Inter‐rater reliability, test–retest reliability, and concurrent validity with other rating scales for EPS were high. Four factors were identified and the optimal diagnostic cut‐off scores were obtained. These results suggest that the DIEPSS is a reliable and valid multidimensional rating scale. © 2002 Movement Disorder Society
