China's transportation and its energy use

This paper takes a look at the status of various transportation modes in China and examines the features and efficiency of energy consumption while comparing them with those of international transport. An analysis has been made of the impact of China's energy production and transportation, as well as emerging new transport modes, especially high-speed railway, on the country's transportation industry. The paper concludes with suggestions for the future development of the motive power structure in China's transport.
