Infant feeding counselling to prevent mother-to-child transmission: more data needed

In their response (pp. 2543-2544) to our recent study on the cost and feasibility to implement the global strategy for the reduction of mother-to-child transmission (MTCT), Dr Sera Young and colleagues argue for the inclusion of infant feeding counselling and the promotion of exclusive breastfeeding as part of the intervention package.
