How can we answer more questions about the association between myocardial repolarization parameters and stroke?

The article entitled 'The dispersion of myocardial repolarization in ischemic stroke and intracranial haemorrhage' by Danese et al offers a different point of view with regard to the electrocardiographic pro-arrhythmic effects of stroke and its subtypes which are usually predicted but unfortunately not documented in a large clinical trial. Stroke has been shown to cause electrocardiographic changes, including prolonged QT interval. ST segment depression or elevation, as well as P and T wave morphologic changes.
