Zusammenfassung: | The article entitled 'The dispersion of myocardial repolarization in ischemic stroke and intracranial haemorrhage' by Danese et al offers a different point of view with regard to the electrocardiographic pro-arrhythmic effects of stroke and its subtypes which are usually predicted but unfortunately not documented in a large clinical trial. Stroke has been shown to cause electrocardiographic changes, including prolonged QT interval. ST segment depression or elevation, as well as P and T wave morphologic changes. |
