Zusammenfassung: | Wegener’s granulomatosis (WG) is a systemic vasculitis with additional neurological involvement in 30% of patients [1] . Cranial or peripheral nerves are often involved with resultant mononeuritis multiplex, distal symmetric polyneuropathies or cranial neuropathies [1, 2] . Although central nervous system (CNS) involvement is uncommon, strokes, CNS vasculitis, seizures, cerebritis, myelopathy [3] , pachymeningeal thickening [4] and Horner’s syndrome have been described [5] . We present an unusual cause of vertebro-basilar thrombosis in a young man with WG. Copyright © 2005 S. Karger AG, Basel |
