Zusammenfassung:There is a growing body of evidence to suggest that surgeon posture while operating contributes to cervical musculoskeletal strain, discomfort, and chronic pain. Microsurgeons may be particularly susceptible to this risk due to persistent neck flexion, long periods of static posture, and the use of heavy, high‐power loupe magnification. Several techniques are thus presented that may help in obviating the cervicospinal repercussions of performing microsurgery.
