Residence and movement of pygmy seahorses, Hippocampus bargibanti, on sea fans (Muricella spp.)

A study found pygmy seahorses on sea fans at depths of 1,329 meters, and individual seahorses remained on their host fan for periods varying between three and 40 weeks. Seahorse movement between different fans was not directly observed in the study.
