Zusammenfassung:An evaluation of the runoff and soil erosion by the Annualized Agricultural Non-Point Source (AnnAGNPS) model in a small Mediterranean watershed was conducted. The SCS curve number technique was used within AnnAGNPS hydrologic submodel to determine the surface runoff on the basis of a continuous soil moisture balance. The AnnAGNPS erosion component simulated storm events on a daily basis for sheet and rill erosion based on the Revised Universal Soil Loss Equation (RUSLE) method. The Hydrogeomorphic Universal Soil Loss Equation (HUSLE) was used to simulate the total sediment volume delivered from the field to the channel after sediment deposition. The results concluded that the SCS curve number method was suitable for runoff predictions in the experimental conditions.
