Tubaria virescens is described as new, being distinct on account of the blue-green discoloration when bruised and remarkably large, subcylindrical spores. Based on collections of Panaeolina rhombisperma Hongo from Kerala, its taxonomic position is discussed, suggesting that it may well be transferred to the genus Psathyrella. |
