Zusammenfassung:	We describe a case of a freemartin heifer carrier of 1/29 Robertsonian translocation in both chimaeric cellular lines (59,XX,t,1;29 and 59,XY,t,1;29). The X, Y, 1/29, 1, and 29 chromosomes have been identified by means of C- and G-banding methods. The dam was heterozygotic for the anomaly (59,XX,t,1;29), whereas the chromosome complement of the sire was normal (60,XY). The probability of appearance of this event in the Retinta breed population is estimated
