Zusammenfassung:The authors studied the current state of physical education implemented by common institutes of higher learning on students who are not majoring in physical education, and revealed the following findings: the quality of physical education classes for the students is not high, and there is a serious lack of extracurricular physical exercises, which collectively reflect such a problem: on campus students are lacking in quality physical education services. The authors concluded via analysis that this problem is related to such factors as ambiguous physical education conceptions currently existing in common institutes of higher learning, ineffective organization and management, congenital deficiency of intellectual ability of the teachers to service the students, and the students commonly lacking in self-motivated exercising ability. The authors offered the following suggestions: solidly establish the ideology that scholastic physical education must serve all the students; set up physical education curriculum teaching materials that will benefit the students for a life time; lecture physical education classes responsibly; cultivate the self-motivated exercising ability of the students; strengthen organization and management to ensure the quality of physical education service.
