Zusammenfassung:The diploid strawberry was examined to determine the inheritance of shikimate dehydrogenase (SDH) allozymes and their linkage relationships with phosphoglucoisomerase and a locus governing red versus yellow fruit color. The close linkage between the SDH and the fruit color loci is the first report of quantified genetic linkage in the strawberry.
