Exploration of the ways of operation of sports associations of college students

By means of interview and case analysis, the authors made a case study of the ways of operation of sports associations of college students in Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade, and revealed the following findings: establishing a mode of "double management" by association league and sports department is more conducive to the development of sports associations; multiple ways of establishment of sports associations provide sports associations with more opportunities for development; sports associations will be the major carrier for extracurricular sports activities in universities; the way of establishment of "united" sports associations is a new attempt for "combining physical exercise with physical education".
