Zusammenfassung:Seminal characteristics of thirty-five dourado (Salminus maxillosus) fishes were investigated under pre - and post-hormonal induction by extract of carp pituitary. The progressive motility was increased from 67.31% up to 76.31% after the hormonal treatment unlike the spermatic vigor which had similar performance under both conditions.
