Bio products: Derivatization of potentially bioactive compounds plays an important role in the fields of drug discovery and chemical biology. Herein, a photoredox‐catalyzed decarboxylative oxidation of arylacetic acids is described. The established method is operationally simple and a variety of substrates are tolerated, providing rapid access to dehomologated bioisosteres of common pharmaceuticals. |
