Zusammenfassung:Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) has a propensity to metastasize to the chest, with the lungs being the most common distant metastatic site. The histologic subtype of RCC has implications for prognosis. Significant advances have been made in the management of metastatic RCC, both in systemic and locoregional therapies. The aim of this article is to review appearances of intrathoracic metastases from RCC and to discuss treatment considerations.
