Zusammenfassung:Three species of Polyplacophora, Callistochiton granifer, Chiton (Tegulaplax) hululensis and Leptoplax unica, are recorded from Papua New Guinea for the first time. The occurrence of Lucilina lamellosa in New Guinea is also confirmed from new material. Specific diagnostic features are illustrated and short notes are given on each species. In addition, a compilation of Polyplacophora known from the New Guinea region is provided.
