Zusammenfassung:Little is known about the relationship between C-reactive protein (CRP) and long-term mortality after acute myocardial infarction (AMI) in diabetic patients. The current study aimed to examine whether CRP levels are associated with for long-term all-cause, cardiovascular, and cardiac mortality in AMI patients with diabetes and those without separately. The cohort study included 663 diabetic and 1853 non-diabetic patients with AMI. The median follow-up time was 1045 days (2.9 years).
