Investigation on Natural Wastewater Treatment System and Re-Usability of Wastewater in Irrigation

Disposal of wastewater from urban and rural areas can pose a serious threat to the environment if it is disposed of improperly. Thus, proper treatments and sanitary disposal of wastewater regulations should be put into practice. Most of the processes for wastewater treatment in developed countries are result of high technology and costs. For this reason, the development of relatively simple and low-cost treatment systems is particularly interesting. This study investigates natural wastewater treatment system and re-usability of wastewater in irrigation. Results indicated that irrigation water quality improved with natural treatment system and it minimized environmental pollution.
