Result of IOFIX (Intra Osseous FIXation) device for first metatarsophalangeal joint arthrodesis: A single surgeon’s series

Highlights • A retrospective review of a fixed angle device for first MTPJ arthrodesis is presented. • The proposed advantages are lower rates of soft tissue irritation and uniform compression. • 95% union rate of the arthrodesis site was achieved.
