Zusammenfassung:One of the invitations involved an appearance on the [David Susskind] Show. Susskind thought I was a woman who had terrible side effects from the pill. I have had side effects, but my reason for going on the show was to present our point of view and not to take part in a medical freak show for the benefit of Susskind. Introducing me as "a woman who did not like the pill," Susskind asked me to describe my side effects. When I told him my worst side effect had been a loss of faith in the medical profession and talked about the history of the suppression of information on the pill plus the conspiracy between the AMA, the Drug Industry, Planned Parenthood and the FDA, Susskind angrily interrupted. This sent Mr. Susskind into a tizzy: "How did we get a radical on this show" This is supposed to be about the pill."
