First record of Leuctra geniculata (Stephens, 1836) from mainland Italy (Plecop-tera, Leuctridae)

The presence of Leuctra geniculata (Steph.), previously collected only in Sardinia and Corsica, is recorded for the first time in mainland Italy, from a series of watercourses in the Ligurian provinces of Imperia and Savona. New Sardinian sampling sites from the Nuoro province are also reported.
