Emilio Sala Francés, itinerario gráfico

Emilio Sala Francés was a defender of the new artistic forms and new media at the end of the 19th century. His work is reproduced in woodcut and photoengraving, creating a school in its works of illustration, enriched by his collaboration with writers of the stature of Galdós or Juan Ramón Jiménez. A look at his graphic work reveals the variety of themes, relatively unknown collaborations and their aesthetics, ranging from refined lines to eloquent tonal spots. [Publication Abstract]
