Zusammenfassung:Research shows that clinical symptoms, image characteristics, and pathologic characteristics of Xp11 translocation RCC are similar to other RCC subtypes [3,4]. [...]immunohistochemistry and cytogenetic analysis are quite important in histologic type or molecular underpinning of Xp11 translocation RCC. [...]these above-mentioned studies remind us that microRNA expression profiles are capable not only of distinguishing between Xp11 translocation RCC and normal tissue samples but also of classifying the other RCC subtypes. There is also some overlap in miRNA expression with Xp11 translocation RCC and clear cell papillary RCC. [...]it is a matter of great urgency to confirm characteristic miRNAs that specifically distinguish Xp11 translocation RCC. 1 P.
