Zusammenfassung: | A web-based query tool rapidly allows our department's data administrator to input certain parameters, such as a patient's medical record number and start/stop times of interest, then query our internal RTLS database for the requested data. The number of possible exposures was identified through two methods: (1) through our traditional contact tracing method that includes electronic health record (EHR) review; and (2) then we generated a list through R-EME to identify co-located people in ED triage areas or exam rooms (Table 1). The 43 additional staff identified via R-EME in the five contagious disease contact tracing cases included nurses (19), care team assistants (9), phlebotomists (5), registration personnel (4), resident physicians (3), respiratory therapists (2), and a physician assistant (1). |
