Method for precise determination of eccentric instrument set-ups

A method for precise determination of station eccentre elements is described. The approach presented is based on adapting a digital camera to an optical plummet. The measurement set is described, as are the problems that arise in its determination and application together with their solutions, including the necessary algorithms. Tests have been performed that confirm the effectiveness of the proposed approach. The estimated accuracy in determining eccentre elements corresponds to centring with an accuracy of at least 0.1 mm.
