Here, Chicago‐based architect and University of Illinois at Urbana‐Champaign associate professor Randy Deutsch examines projects across the US and in London – from governmental and diplomatic buildings to sports and music facilities and an airport – to demonstrate how five firms have evolved their working process in order to fulfil challenging briefs.
