Leg stiffness during sprinting in transfemoral amputees with running-specific prosthesis

Highlights • We studied leg stiffness during sprinting in transfemoral amputees. • Leg stiffness in prosthetic leg was approximately 12% smaller than intact leg. • Asymmetric modulation of leg stiffness was associated with ground reaction force.
