Zusammenfassung: | The aim of this study was to compare the nine personality types (Enneagram) in athletes and non-athletes. The purpose of this study is functional and it is of descriptive, causative and comparative type. The sample includes all athlete and nonathlete students of Islamic Azad University of Karaj and of this population 300 subjects were selected by convenience sampling. Enneagram Questionnaire was used for data collection. ANOVA test showed that in all cases of testing sig=0, the null hypothesis was rejected according to the degree of freedom and t. test and original hypothesis was accepted with 95% confidence level. The results related to the hypotheses indicated that there is a meaningful difference between nine personality types in athletes and non-athletes. There is a useful division to examine the personality characteristics and many features including toughness and body image in ones' character can be predicted through that. |
