Zusammenfassung: | Data from a recent study of effective groundwater recharge in Ohio were re-examined to understand relationships between recharge and individual drainage basin features, with particular attention to location of the main stem of a river relative to coarse and fine surficial sediments, and to the influence of land use. Difficulty finding sufficiently detailed data statewide limited the study. A possible relation was noted between land area in agriculture vs. forest and recharge in some parts of the state, but otherwise no relations were evident in visual comparisons of mapped and tabulated data. |
