Simultaneous quantification of batrachotoxin and epibatidine in plasma by ultra-performance liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry

Highlights • UPLC-MS/MS was used for quantification of batrachotoxin and epibatidine in plasma. • This method was also applied for quantification of batrachotoxin and epibatidine in rat plasma. • This is the first report using UPLC-MS/MS to quantify these toxins in plasma.
