Zusammenfassung:We have studied reaction between silicon tetrafluoride and calcium hydride in a vertical flow reactor, which proceeds as combustion in filtration mode. The principal kinetic characteristics of the reaction between SiF 4 and CaH 2 in a counterpropagating wave have been determined: reaction order n = 1, rate constant k = 0.38 ± 0.05 s –1 , and activation energy E a = 17 ± 2 kJ/mol.
