Dolayisiyla bu problemi doguran sebeplerin belirlenmesine yonelik arastirmalarin sayisi gittikce artmaktadir. Bu amacla, bu calismada orgutsel bagliligin iskoliklige etkisi incelenmistir. Arastirma amaci dogrultusunda Istanbul"da faaliyet gosteren 15 farkli tekstil ve otomotiv firmasindan anket teknigi ile veriler toplanmistir. Toplamda 214 kisiden elde edilen anket verileri aciklayici faktor analizi, guvenilirlik analizi, korelasyon analizi ve regresyon analizleri araciligiyla degerlendirilmistir. Arastirma bulgularina gore, iskolikligin artmasinda orgutsel bagliligin onemli bir rolu bulunmaktadir. Ayni sekilde orgutsel baglilik boyutlarindan normatif bagliligin da iskolikligi arttirdigi gozlemlenmistir. Orgutsel bagliligin devam bagliligi ve duygusal baglilik boyutlarinin ise iskolikligi etkilemedigi gorulmustur. // ABSTRACT IN ENGLISH: Workaholism which means excessive commitment to the work and spending extra time for work-related activities is one of the major problems of today's working life. Therefore amount of the studies that research the reasons of this problem has been increasing. To this end, it is studied the effect of organizational commitment on workaholism in this paper. The data gathered through questionnaires from a total of 15 textile and automotive companies operating in Istanbul. Answers of 214 employees working in these firms were analyzed through exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis. According to the results, organizational commitment has a significant role in increasing workaholism levels. Likewise, it is observed that normative commitment, a dimension of organizational commitment, increases workaholism levels of employees. The other two dimensions of organizational commitment that are affective commitment and continuance commitment, on the other hand, are not significantly affecting workaholism.
