Zusammenfassung:Three Co(III) complexes with biguanide derivatives [Co(NH 2 C(=NH)NHC(=NH)NR 1 R 2 ) 3 ]Cl 3 (R 1 R 2 = Me 2 ( I ), Et 2 ( II ), and H s Bu ( III )) were obtained and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectroscopy, and electronic absorption spectroscopy. Structure III was confirmed by X-ray diffraction (CIF file CCDC no. 1401783). Complexes I–III and [M(SC(NH 2 ) 2 ) 4 ]Cl 2 (M = Pd, Pt, and [Co(En) 3 ]Cl 3 ) were tested for in vitro antiviral activity against the A/California/07/09 (H1N1pdm09) influenza virus. The best results were achieved with complex III and both thiourea complexes.
