Zusammenfassung: | The biannual meeting of the International Musicological Societys study group Cantus Planus is certainly an excellent opportunity to learn about the most recent findings in the field and engage in discussions about them in a friendly and inspiring environment. This years Cantus Planus took place from the 2nd to the 7th of August in Dublin. The University of Notre Dames Keough-Naughton Centre and the Royal Society of Antiquaries of Ireland, conveniently located on the same street, hosted it for three days. University College Dublin, which also served as the accommodation for most delegates, was the last days venue, and was likewise very suitable for this event. The programme included nearly 100 papers, a session with posters, a delightful Compline service chanted by Peregryne at the Church of St Audoen, a packed day-trip to the counties of Wicklow and Kildare, and visits to view manuscripts in the Royal Irish Academy, the Chester Beatty Library and the Old Library at Trinity College.
