Anyone who has followed the one-woman dance marathon that is Chita Rivera knows she has no business starring in the Broadway hit "Kiss of the Spider Woman." She's long past the age when any mere flesh-and-blood dancer would have hobbled off the stage. What's more, in 1986 she made an ill-timed U-turn in her sports car, did a bump-and-grind with a New York City taxi and cracked her left leg in 12 places.
