Zusammenfassung:The authors have proposed an air-conditioning system utilizing under-floor chambers and currently available commodity products such as domestic electric air-conditioners. In an existing detached house which is highly insulated and equipped with the system, the measurements were carried out. The air distribution of the system was measured. Furthermore temperature and electric power consumption have been measured over three years. The air distribution was reasonable, the temperature was moderate and the difference among the rooms was very small, and primary energy consumption was lower than the criterion of the energy standard in Japan. Thus the air-conditioning system was verified.
