Zusammenfassung: | Dibenzothiazolyldibenzo‐18‐crown‐6‐ether was designed and synthesized by formylation of dibenzo‐18‐crown‐6‐ether followed by condensation with 2‐aminothiophenol. A simple and rapid UV‐Visible spectrophotometric method is developed for detection of trace of palladium ions. Furthermore it was assessed for antimicrobial activity against bacterial strains Staphylococcus aureus (Gram+ve), Escherichia coli (Gram−ve) as well as fungal strains Aspergillus niger and Candida albicans respectively. |
