Zusammenfassung: | The IBD and its two clinical entities, namely ulcerative colitis (UC) and CD, may be associated with gynecological complications, predominantly with fistulas in any part of the female genital tract. Case Report A 40-year-old white female, with a 20-year history of IBD, was admitted to the third Surgical Department, General University Hospital "Attikon," National University of Athens, Greece, because of persisting diarrhea and vomiting, with more than 10 episodes/day; vulvodynia, perianal pain, and purulent vulvar and vaginal discharge at an unusually high intensity with unpleasant smell were also present. |
