Zusammenfassung:The present work was aimed at determining the length-weight relationship of spirlin (Alburnoides bipunctatus) in the freshwater of Turkey. For this purpose, total of 2191 spirlin specimens belonging to the Western Black Sea, Great Menderes, Sakarya, Susurluk, Marmara, Eastern Black Sea, Aras, Coruh, Dicle and Kizilirmak basins in the museum of Freshwater Fish collection in Ege University Fisheries Faculty were examined. Total lengths ranged from 3.2 to 13.0 cm and total weights from 0.28 to 25.26 g for all individuals. Length-weight relationship parameters were computed as a=0.0083, b=3146, R super(2)=0967 for both sexes.
