Zusammenfassung:In this study, some ecological properties of 19 records of species belonging to Simuliidae fauna collected between 1983 and 2007 in Turkey were investigated. Five species (Simulium (Eusimulium) velutinum Santos Abreu, 1922, Simulium (Simulium) hispaniola Grenier and Bertrand, 1954, Simulium (Simulium) posticatum Meigen, 1838, Simulium (Simulium) trifasciatum Curtis, 1839, Simulium (Simulium) tuberosum Lundstrom, 1911) were new records (Kazanci and Ertunc, 2008) for Turkey.
