Presentation of Case

(Pediatrics): A 2-month-old girl was admitted to the pediatric intensive care unit (ICU) of this hospital because of respiratory failure, growth retardation, and failure to thrive.
The patient was born by vaginal delivery to a primigravida mother at another hospital after 39 weeks of gestation; labor was induced because of intrauterine growth retardation. The birth weight was 2.3 kg (first percentile), and Apgar scores were 6 and 8 at 1 and 5 minutes, respectively. The umbilical cord was two-vessel. The patient was admitted to the neonatal ICU.
