Methods for assessment of plankton community condition: creation of a system of complex mathematical analysis of hydrobiological data

General approaches and reasons for studying plankton communities as an indicator of aquatic ecosystem condition are presented. Main methods for relevant data processing and analysis are briefly described. The concept of versatile mathematical analysis is proposed to facilitate hydrobiological data processing.
