Zusammenfassung:A chip‐scale and label‐free glucose sensor is developed by utilizing mid‐IR silicon nitride waveguides. For a dry glucose covered waveguide, strong intensity attenuation is found at λ > 2.73 μm due to the OH stretches absorption. Using this characteristic spectrum, a glucose detection limit less than 0.5 ng is experimentally demonstrated.
