Microglia-derived neuregulin expression in psychiatric disorders

Highlights • Neuregulins (NRGs) are expressed in microglia. • Microglial NRG expression is significantly increased in BTBR and socially isolated mice. • NRG1 type III levels in PBMCs are correlated with scores of ADI-R domain A.
