Zusammenfassung: | Living polymerizations offer the potential for producing structures with defined end groups by deliberate termination of a living system with appropriate reagents and block copolymers by sequential addition of two or more different monomers. Potentially important advantages of controlled living polymerization reactions of actetylene derivatives are greater tolerance of functionalities, control over the nature of capping groups, and the ability to prepare block or random copolymers that contain other monomers that can be polymerized by the well-defined alkylidene complexes. |
