Gottfried sum in the SU(3) NJL model

Within the semibosonized SU(3) Nambu{endash}Jona-Lasinio (NJL) model we calculate the Gottfried sum with linear 1/{ital N}{sub {ital c}} and srange mass corrections and find surprising agreement with recent NMC measurements. The limits of pure valence and pure bosonized pictures are derived. {copyright} {ital 1995 American Physical Society.}
